About Killer Bee Gi
I started KillerBeeGi back in 2010 as a way to teach myself how to build an e-commerce website doing something I love, BJJ. At the time, I had adopted a little girl, and I wanted to be a stay-at-home dad, so I had to reinvent myself after quitting my job as a cartographer, and it had to be something I could do from home. This test project later evolved into a full-fledged business that helped me to support my family. At the time, KillerBeeGi was one of the first companies to offer mixed and matched sizing and then, based on a comment someone online made about wishing for a way to build a custom order, I began a new direction for my company that allowed me to set myself apart from the many other companies out there. Fifteen years later, we have an illustrative custom mockup tool which allows customers to design their own bjj gi and also set the sizing for it using over 12 different options. Phew!
Not many of you know, but I am also an artist and have willingly been pulled into that direction since just before Covid. My expanding art business has now grown to a point that I can no longer give Killer Bee Gi the attention it deserves. I don't regret it and just look at it as a transition into something new, which left me with the question of what to do with KillerBeeGi. The answer is that I will transition my company into new ownership over the next year. The company I have been using to build the gis, Addmore International, has a great reputation, and they are honest to a fault. Two brothers run the operation– Muhammad Husnain Yousaf and Ahsan Mehmood , and I will be partnering with them in the process of taking over the business. I have been working with them since 2015. What does this mean?

1. The quality of the gear will remain the same as the supplier becomes the owner.
2. In the short term, I will still be managing parts of the business, mainly customer service, graphic edits, and sizing questions.
3. In the long term, I will still be part of the process, mainly customer relations, but much more in the background in terms of managment.
4. The best part? We will now be offering much better pricing, as the middleman, me, is now mostly out of the picture. Expect to find the most affordable custom gis of the best quality on the market.
5. Addmore has been in business since 2011 and are more experienced than any other company out there following our path.
I am excited to see KillerBeeGi grow into a mainline company that offers quality custom gear, the best customer service, and the most affordable prices.
